My offering as a teacher is to provide a space and environment where you can explore your body. I have been using my body to explore yoga for over 30 years and my classes are simple, you need no experience or particular ability.
Our aim if there is one is to open the body, with out force or any particular goal.
With time it is my hope you will gain a different sense of awareness of yourself and how you move, where you hold tension and how to soften and release those patterns.
I have a particular interest the seasons and how they influence us and our body. We use the Yoga postures but your body is very much the focus not the posture itself.
If this sounds interesting to you, please come and try a session (arrange in advance) I hold a Yoga Alliance teaching qualification and co – own a yoga retreat company regularly experiencing the work of teachers such as Diane Long, Bill Wood, John Stirk and Billy Doyle.
You will be encouraged to work with gentleness and kindness towards yourself.
