Suitable for everyone, through a series of yoga asanas (postures), meditation and pranayama (breathing), I look to re-awaken the potential of the spine, helping to move energy and vitality through the body.
With a whole body approach – body, breath and mind, the class is a restorative space where we find that balance between movement and stillness, so you can really tune into your body and what it needs. By doing so, yoga can transform the body, mind and emotions.
Classes involve gentle movement allowing time to explore the change we bring to our body, mind and breath. By moving the spine, releasing tension in our hips and shoulders through the asanas, we can tune into and become much more aware of what our body needs.
The classes always finish with a Savasana relaxation, allowing you to connect to the breath and absorb the benefits of the yoga practice.
The class is open to all levels of ability as I adapt the asanas to the students. It’s a relaxed space where you can just allow yourself to focus on you and what your body needs, plus have some fun.
